I received a call last week stating that my credit card application has been approved in the amount of $7,000. When I explained I didn't know what they were talking about, that I had not applied for any credit, the person said I must have done it online, perhaps to repair my bad credit. I further explained that I have excellent credit and was certainly not in need of anymore credit cards.
