All of you who write in About Chase and their practices fail to recognize one thing... This is a bank and this bank makes money by charging fees. I used to work there and i know for example. If you are a individual who pays their bill off every month you are put in a non-profitable catagory... You are not making the bank any money... So they will do one thing to alleviate this... They will reduce your due date by 5 days and put a blurb on the statement that your date is reduced. If you dont catch it and you are late even if it is the first time you will lose your special rate and your rate will go up to 29.99% automatically. The advisors are trained to tell those clients that under no circumstances will any fees be waived and if the CLIENT COMPLAINS then tell the cm "they can close the account".. This went on every day
Profitable clients are those who have lots of charges and fees and if they call in waive the fees no questions asked... This is because they will have fees in the future so chase wants to keep them happy
Millions of card holders who had excellent credit and had % rates of 5.99-7.99 had their rates raised because chase can do it
Products such as the Chase Payment Proct are taught to tell the clients the least amount possible and that it is a 30 day review/trial for information with no risk or obligation and most of all do not tell them the price unless they ask
An advisor was fired for telling Clients to much However if you say yes and the info is sent out and you are not paying attention to what is said... If your statement closes 3 days after the product is sent then you are charged 89 cents per 100 dollars... Figures out to 8.90 cents per 1000 and so on
The Chase Fraud charges 7.99 for stuff the do for free anyway Chase cut commissions for all is workers... Transfered the most profitable tranactions to India where they dont have to pay the people and then raised fees on balance transfers to 3% flat rate so if you do 15000.00 transfer you will pay 450 dollars. Advisors have no reprecussions if they do not tell the clients about this and if you call in to complain the advisors / customer service cannot waive the fee
So buyer beware people If you dont listen you get what you deserve
