Very dishonest billing - I canceled within 30 day trial and was still charged Ripoff

I thought I fully understood the situation when I received a "free" credit report via freecreditreport.com, and made it a point to cancel my subscription before 30 days had elapsed (and my account would be billed).

Two months later, I notice CIC Triple Advantage has taken 2 monthly deductions from me after the representative I spoke with when I canceled told me there would be no credit card charges. None. I had supposedly closed the account, and received a free credit report like the website's name promised.

I will call and cancel again tomorrow, though I already did earlier this year. I don't have the energy to make a big fuss over this, especially since this seems to be the company's favorite game and I will probably lose.

Remember: nothing is free.
