Is a ripoff

Credit card fraud...

I'm trying to send info on a company that has ripped me off and for some reason it will not let me. I would like to warn people out there not to deal with a company called Freedom Resources. This is the first time I have ever been scammed, but it will be the last. On June 20th of this year I received a call from a representative from Freedom promoting a Visa credit card with a credit limit of 2500.00 and no interest. This sounded great because I could never get a card for that amount.

Well dumb me gave them my acct info and they deducted 221.95 from my account on the 28th of June. This is now August and I still do not have a card. I called them at least once a week costing myself more money because they keep you on hold forever. Every time I call there is a different excuse why I haven't received my credit card. First they tell me the card will be sent in 10 to 15 days. No card. I call again this time they say it will take 15 to 21 days to process. I'm a little irritated, but I'm understanding. Day 24 no card now I'm pissed off. I call again this time I talk to a woman named Tamica. She tells me that the computers were down for a month and that it was taking them longer to get the card out.

I told her that I was very dissatisfied. She told me to call her back in a week on Tues the 6th of Aug to be exact and that she would give me the date my card will be sent. Well I call like she requested, First they never even let me talk to this supposed Tamica. I told the lady I was speaking to that I either wanted the card or my money back. She became irritated at me and gave me an attitude. I told her that I would be contacting the BBB due to fact that I am not getting a straight answer. This b... Had the gull to say I must have misinterpreted what they said.By now I am fuming. I know what they said to me because I have documentation of the calls.

And can you believe the gull of these people they still won't tell me when my card will be sent. These people lie and lie and looks like they keep getting away with this. I didn't find out anything out about this company until I went on-line and
read from you guys and the BBB that they have a delay problems in getting the card out. They are also misleading people. They told me I was getting a credit card not a card to buy stuff from them in there catalogs. Aren't there laws out there for companies that knowingly mislead and misrepresent themselves. If there are please let me know because I will do what I have to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.
