Bogus COLLECTION NOTICE for a debt I never owed

Based on previous consumer complaints, this company and it's business practices need to be investigated.

I too got a collection notice for a "disconnected" Verizon phone account I never had. This notice shows a balance due of $421.21. It doesn't indicate when these charges were allegedly incurred, but I have lived in the same place with the same phone number for over a decade and I am positive this debt is not mine.

Afni, Inc should be reimbursing all the people they are sending these bogus notices to for the time, effort and anxiety generated in dealing with them.
