Ripoff Help! Someone is Trying to ROB ME!

I have just received a letter from the Check Processing Bureau stating that I have a bad check at Jackpot Food Mart. There is no date of the check only the amount of $145. The only date on the letter is for 04/26. When I called them they said it was from 2000. Well I have never heard of this company before and when I tried to get any information from the man, Sanferd Hutten, he said for me to call Amy Summers at ext. 109. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said that I would have to call back and go to ext. 106 to talk to Mr. Wheeler. I have not had a checking account in so long that I do not even remember. The letter I received is threatening, it says that I am ADVISED that CIVIL AND CRIMINAL action might happen. Also the CHOICE IS MINE. I feel very threatened by this company, and they said they have contacted me before, this is the first time I have heard of it. I do not know what to do.
