I knew something was wrong - don't let this company take you!

I received a phone call last night asking for my husband. I said "this is his wife, can I help you with something"? The lady said well I am from Ameritrust Financial and I am calling to tell your husband that he is approved for one of our major credit cards. I said "ok" and then went to say "we are not interested, we are trying to pay things off now".

But, before I could say anything else, she said "all I need is to know where he banks" I caught on very quickly! I said "and I suppose you will also need his bank account number". She must have thought I was joking because she said "yes, mrs. Johnson, i do whenever you are ready".

I said "lady, let me tell you something, you will NOT get any of our personal information and you need to quit scamming people that are not as leary as we are"!! She calmly said "Thank you, mrs johnson" and I hung up the phone.

I have been reading information regarding scams and it states "if they want money up front, they are not there for good intentions"!! Do NOT let this company scam you!
