Ripoff held us to a auto renewing noncancellable contract 3 years after the business closed!

Help us please!!! We closed or store in Findlay, Ohio in September. Since then we have paid $34.25 each and every month to a company called Lease Finance Group LLC. I know this name is familiar to you. I read how you helped some other people in our situation. Our business failed and cost us alot. We never thought it would be so difficult to end the credit card charges to our account. On Monday April 16th we will attempt to close the account that LFG is charging in an attempt to stop the crime that has been ongoing for three years.

When we closed the store, we contacted all companies necessary to end business. LFG is impossible to contact by phone or any other way. It takes hours on hold to get anything done if you do get to talk to someone. When we did get through we explained that we were going out of business and they informed us of our automatically renewed contract. That's right, they don't even have to ask us if we want to renew a contract! This should be illegal. Nevertheless, they informed us that we now had to pay for leasing a keypad for $34.25 for another three years! How can this be possible. We returned their equipment as instructed to the address they gave us. Now they tell us they never received the keypad.

PLEASE help us with this company. If we can't close the account, we plan on letting the account default and hope for the best. LFG got over a thousand dollars for the one keypad which we returned and haven't used since 9/15.

I hope this problem can be remedied without litigation. We have very little resources to do that and I beleive LFG knows this when they prey on small businesses.

This is the letter we sent to the illinois attny general, oh attny general, the ftc, and the bbb in ohio and illinois. We hope this gets some resolution. The nightmare goes on!!!
