They have taken a lot of our money and still we are losing our home. Ripoff

My husband is 70 and I'm 68. We have lived in our home for 22 years. Back in 1998 we were paying our payments to New Century, April they called me and told me they hadn't received my payment for April. I told them I sent it in well they claimed they never received it. I have the canceled checks to prove they did. While after that my account was sold to Ocwen. I thought I would get the problem straighten out. No such thing it has gotten worse.

I have file several chapter 13's. Everytime the payments start were I can afford them but after a while they are raised to a amount I cannot afford. After years of paying every extra cent to them we are losing the fight. I cannot find a lawyer to help me as they don't understand Ocwen. We lose our home next week as our chapter 13 will be canceled then. The payment of the latest one goes from $993.00 to $1300.00 a month. That doesn't include taxes or insurance.

Our income is $1700.00 a month. We are retired and need legal advise quick. We are losing a doublewide and 14 acres of land. My husband can't help me because he cannot remember the time of day. I have just gotten over heart surgery. We have done withour a lot of extra's like our medicine, lights, heat and groceries just to pay our Ocwen. We try to keep the insurance paid. But at $1300 a month we can't do it. Please can someone help us to save our home.

We owe $68000but Ocwen has $23000, they say we are behind. But if they went back to the payment that was lost and take all the interest and late fees that caused we would be up to date or paid up. Please help us to keep our home.
