I recieved a post card in April saying I have been prequalified for a grant of $5,000. And here is my story:

I was told when I signed up that I would receive my grant 6-8 week. I did read the back when you stated that it could take up to one year. When I would call to check on the status of my application, I was told I should receive it on certain dates. Those dates would pass, and nothing happened. When I would call your rude customer service department, they would brush me off, keep me on hold for hours at a time, and hang up on me. I spoke one time with a Mark McBerg after several attempts to speak with a supervisor. He informed me to call anytime and ask for him. I did that and have been leaving voice mails for three months with no response. On January a female customer service rep with a nasty attitude told me that customer service has no way of telling when someone would receive a grant. She told me that the reps have been lying to me to get me off the phone. I needed to speak to a grant specialist. One time they put me on with someone claiming to be a specialist and told me I should have my grant on February 16th. As you can see, that date has come and passed. I have not received the information in the mail that was supposed to come from your office on the grants which I applied for.

In the letter which I received when I signed up almost a year ago states&a detailed personalized analysis of the entire grant, preferential loans and or other applied for. I never got it and called for it. I was told it was in the mail 5 months ago. I explained to customer service I just needed the contact information so I can follow up myself and not bother them. They claimed they can't give that out. They told me to call a local government office for the info. How do I do that when I don't know who to call and what to tell them. I have tried several times; no one can help me without the information from your office. I have no real hard concrete information that you all even submitted any information on my behalf. I have not received any letters from these agencies telling me yes or no in a year. I don't know what kind of operation is being ran, but it is poor. I paid your company money and for what. The service is terrible, the attitudes are worse and no one can tell me a single thing regarding my case. I have been trying to call for about three weeks with no success. The lines stays busy even at twelve midnight.

So I know you are closed that time of the night, so what is going on. I would like to hear something from you all ASAP. Because of your customer service lies, I am out of thousands of dollars. Because they would give me these bogus dates of deposit into my account I put money up that I did not have. Oh yeah the last time I actually spoke with someone, they told me the minimum is now 7,000. At first it was 5,000 then 10,000 now 7,000 what is going on. This is the letter that I mailed into them last month. It came back to me saying the box has been closed. I am looking into how to get some kind of action suit. I want to know if anyone actually recieved grants through them or not.
