Ripoff - consumer fraud ripoff F

Ok guys I work for Bank Of America in the check card fraud dept. I have taken claims on a CO by the name of Capitol First Credit lately. I am not sure if this is the same co as the one you report the senario is a bit different. I have customers calling me telling me that they recieve a call from a telemarketer & they are told that they are going to receive a package in the mail for a credit card within 7 days or sometimes they tell the customer overnight for a credit card for XXX. XX limit all they need is to know if you have a checking account & it will cost you 19.95 for them to send the package out & 99.00 when you accept the card.

They then try to get you to give them your check over the phone & you will have like 7-10 days to examine the package. Then the customers tell me that they never get it within 7-10 days in the mail & when they get the package the cancelation process now on paper states that the verbal contract that they say you entered with them over the phone states you will cancel within 7-10 days which is now up! They blame the mail or if you did get it in time & just fill it out & send it back they tell you you did not get an approval code from someone on their 800# so you forfit your rights to a refund! Next thing you read is that you have given them permission to give your acct # to their associates who then also start charging your acct for 54.95,59.95, & other varrious amounts. I see the charges appear on customers acct as uasualy 3 letters.

We have secure Bank Of America cards & you only have to have one for a year & then we will graduate you to an unsecure card!
