Tacking themselves on to other sites Ripoff We

This am, my husband checked our bank account online so he knew how much to deposit to pay our bills. We really only use the account to pay bills, because it's instant, and the bank keeps the paper trail on record for us. Lo and behold, there is a $149.95 charge on our account. Absolutely unauthorized. So he called the 800 number next to the charge. They're only ope 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday. Guess what. It's Saturday, and we have bills due, with now not enough to pay them. SO he immediately called the bank. Turns out it's really the same company who tried to take $50 out of the account earlier this week. The bank had already looked into it, refunded the money, and sent us the paperwork to file suit. Now they're doing the same, and the money should be back in sometime today. It's good to have a great bank. As far as we can tell, the company got our info from 'piggybacking' another site. The hubby got a payday advance loan this month to make sure we could cover all the bills now coming in from the Holidays, and the company is the only one we've put bank info into online. We've contacted the loan company, and they're investigating. A few other people are having the same problem. SO we shall see how that comes out. I had the same thing happen to me about 5 years ago, but I was using Gaurantee Bank (spelling?), and they were nice about it, but didn't get me the money back. I must commend Wells Fargo, our current bank. They don't ask questions, they just refund our money within 24 hours or less, and then take action against who-ever/what-ever went after our account. But now the hubby is on his way to the bank now to change our account numbers to make sure they leave us alone. It's a hassle to get new cards, but it's worth it.
