Charging Excessive NSF Fees Ripoff

Compass Bank is in fact a rip off. I phoned them for three weeks straight concerning a check that tried to post to my account. I was sent back and forth to the branch and to the dispute line and no one was able to assist me.

A check that was supposed to be written by and authorized by me tried to post to my account. I did not notice until after my pay check was eaten up by the fees assessed by the bank. I notified the bank of the problem and I was told that it was nothing I could do about it because I authorized the check. That is a lie. The check states that the company trying to cash the check has a signature on file for me which they do not. I never heard of the creditor.

I asked my bank to get proof and they will not. My account is overdrawn by several hundreds of dollars. Rather than rightfully investigate they would rather just not.

Compass is going to loose alot of business by hiring those low budget loosers that they have on staff - Especially Ocie Lee at the preston forest branch.
