Conned me into getting credit card for balance transfer and failed to transfer Ripoff

A few years ago when I was in college at Missouri State University, I went to commerce to open a checking account. The bank rep told me on October 12 that I should get a credit card in order to do a balace transfer on a Household Best Buy account I had that I was planning on transfering by different means in the near future. He told me there would be no intrest for 6 months and that would give me an extra couple of months to pay off the balace of 126.00. I opened the credit card account and was told the balance transfer would take 10 days, but guaranteed to go through in 30 days but it never takes that long. However after 30 days I went in because the transaction had not taken place. A different rep assured me it would be taken care of and apologized for the inconvenience. I continued to call daily to get an update. She said she had been emailing Visa and getting no response but it won't be an issue. On December 20 she said it had gone through and I had nothing to worry about. It didn't and I was charged an additional $263.00 in intrest on the Best Buy account. When I tried to contact the Branch manager she told me it was Visa's fault, when I contacted Visa they told me it was Commerce's fault. I got no where. March 4 four months after I had applied for the transfer it went through bouncing my account because of charges I had made after Feburary, and charging me fees. Commerce and Visa refused to take the responsibility and insisted I pay for everything. I then paid the initial amount of 126.00 out of pocket, and put the intrest on the visa card and refused to pay it. What are my options, now my balance is over $1,000, due to intrest on the intrest I was guaranteed I would not have to pay and bounce charges for the account going through 4 months later, not to mention my credit report, and I now have debt collectors harrassing me at work. Please Help if there is anything I can do.
