My Visa checkcard had an authorization placed by MediaStore for $18.25. I never ordered anything from them. The next day $1425.00 was authorized in Japan at various music/media stores. Visa Security alerted me of the charges and marked the transactions as fraudulent. Visa had a Phone number for MediaStore in Orange County that was not in service, and the website is not working. I am guessing that MediaStore is a front for credit card fraud. They test the transaction in the US and then send the CC number around the globe. Be cautious of MediaStore! The Charge was placed on my CC as: MEDIASTORE 5969.
