Was scammed out of $1600 in Two days, Cant go to college anymore

After reading everything on this site I cant say that my experience is any different. I got a call about a week ago (October 11) from David Morrison of "Fairview Lending group" He informed me that I had been approved for my 6,000 dollar loan. He then proceeded to tell me that they would require an $800 deposit becuase he said that the only lender that would consider my loan needed collateral. Not knowing a whole lot about the loan process, I said ok becuase I really needed the money for school. I sent them the $800 via money gram at a wallmart. The money gram was sent to Nancy Furguson in Alberta (Calgary) Canada. When I called back to give David Morrison the confirmation number, he said that the money would be in my account no later that 12 the next day. Well, the next morning at around 9 AM I get a call from "Fairview Lending's" customer service center. The man on the line was Donald Perry. He was calling to tell me that the insurance company had looked over my file and decided that 800 dollars was not suitable enough for collateral. I was asked to pay another 800 and was assured that this would be it.in fact, I was GUARANTEED that if I paid that final 800 there would be no more problems with my account. I Called back 2 more times that day to question him and he seemed to be very knowledgable on the topic. So, reluctantly I found a way to get 800 more and sent it out via money gram again to the same person in Canada. After that, you all know the story. Of course the funds were never delivered to my account and I can still not get ahold of anyone there.
I would just like to say that becuase of this I wont be able to go to collge for a while. Reading all of the user reports on this page makes me feel terrible. Some of the people on here REALLY needed that money for things more important than school. Im very sorry for all of you who have been affected by this and please feel free to email or call me about your case. I would be really interested to hear about it. I think if enough people report these people we can catch them and at the very least get our money back. I hope these people go to jail for a LONG time.
