Ripoff, dishonest company, high interest rates, theft

Trident called my office out of the blue. A very nice young lady asked if I had any new equipment purchases coming in the near future for my business. I said that I was going to buy two peices of equipment in the amount $18,600. The young lady quoted me a resonable interest rate and we started the ball rolling. Trident wanted me to pay the first and last months payments in advance. I recieved the final leagal documents and realized that the interest rate was much much higher than the initial rate quote. I tore up the leagal papers and went about my business. A month later I realized when I reconciled my bank statements that we had sent the first and last months payments to Trident. I called them to get my $1162.23 back. My request was declined. They told me I would not receive my money and that I was welcome to take leagal action. I did get a judgement against Trident for the $1162.23. But I am in Texas, and Trident is in California, so it does me no good. I have a very small business in the agriculture field and $1100 is a lot of money. Trident is a shady organization, and I want everyone to know it.
