Ripoff, attempted to add insurance to payments after receiving proof of Ins

The poor business practices, and inability to process information, led me to a 5 year ongoing dispute with it seems like every WAMU office in the USA. The 1st scam they pulled was to claim that my insurance had lapsed and unless I responded to their letter within 30 days they were going to add "force placed insurance" to my acct, and raise my pymt to pay for this.

I responded the same day I received their fraudulant notice, and after an hour on the phone and a long distance fax (proof of ins) I was told the issue was resolved. Not only did they attempt to raise my pymt, when I disputed the illegitamate claim they took a portion of my previous payment to put on this supposed Ins policy they purchased and in doing that my payment was less than the minimum payment so they reported me from then on as 30 days late to the credit agency's!

I received constant harrasing calls even at my workplace. I talked to what seems like 500 people all of which were unable to help and none of them could find any record of all the letters, faxes, registered letters, inquiries from the BBB, and previous phone call I had made, and of course none of the over 35 transmittals of proof of ins, from my insurance company!

Now it seems they have finally fixed my credit report, and amended my account info, but I just received a letter that they have sold my account to Green Tree who from what I have read on this site is 100 times worse! They have already broke the law by failing to give me 15 days notice of this change, and I can see this snow balling into a big mess
