Ripoff of $1000.00 in two weeks of overdrafts fees

I can certainly vouch for what the lady in Fla said. I was reading it to my husband and we both agreed that's what happened to us. From May we stayed in the black and we both said there ought to be a law against this. My husband felt all he was doing was working so Am South could take it. We, as regular customers have not had the training to understand the banks way of keeping books. We finally got the whole mess straightened out at our local branch and believe me when I say I keep an eye on our account (which is a business account) every day. To my recollection we were never told they charge $35.00 for every over draft which some weeks were as much as 500.00. Every direct deposit went to pay over drafts thus resulting in our being in the black. I was having to borrow money just to pay bills. I guess AMSouth thinks if you have a business you must be rich. Not So! It's a new business. We were definitely ripped of. My husband has tried to borrow money from them and was turned down but they sure didn't mind taking ours. Fed Up With AMSouth!!
