Ripoff deceptive company caused me great financial burden

I was contacted by ABAC, by phone and was told I could get an unsecured Visa with a limit of $ guaranteed. I was told it would be a one time fee of $174.90, which would be taken from my checking account. I was then turned over to a recording, which I could not hear nor understand, and when the gal came back on the line I told her I did not understand the recording and she said it would be repeated to me by a supervisor. At that time I was turned over to the supposed supevisor, and he told me everything the original gal had told me, except he added the $10.00 monthly fee. I asked, and was told that when I received the packet from them with my benefits, I had 7 days from receival of packet to cancel and have my money refunded. While waiting for the packet, I had additional funds taken from my account in the amount of $154.90. When I called about these funds I was told they were a sister company of BABC and the authorization came through BABC. I tried to contact BABC, but could never get through. We filed complaints with the bank. The bank has taken up the fight to have my money returned. When I received the packet in the mail, I refused the packet and had it returned. I wrote a letter cancelling everything and requesting my money back. BABC contacted me and told me the addition funds from the other companies, they had nothing to do with. The money they told me would be refunded if everything returned within 7 days, they now say because I authorized it I can have it returned. As of this letter, they are still taking the $10.00 monthly fee out of my checking account, even tho I wrote to them and cancelled. This type of ripoff needs to be stopped. I am not a stupid person, but I asked what I thought were the right questions to protect myself, they gave me the right answers, and I got ripped off. This has caused me great financial burden and emotional strife. JudyCreswell, Oregon
