"John Smith" contacted me shortly after I had filled out an online loan application through Lending Tree also (as original reporter in Santa Rosa had done). I was feeling sketchy about him from the start because he was never at his desk. I never got to speak to a live person. After talking to him about this loan, it all sounded very good, but something still didn't feel right. After requesting $800 collateral, I stated that I would have to use part of a settlement that I got to fix my vehicle and that was the only cash I had. He didn't even blink over it, even though it was an obviously desperate action I was about to take. He was pretty insistent that I send my payment via Western Union ASAP and then call him.

I have been dealing with Scammers for a while (it's my job), so after hearing a familiar tune, I started researching "Variety Financial Services" and found this.

Do not be fooled by this company.
