I have been doing business with Compass Bank since March. I have been charged at least $1,000 in NSF fee's for using my Visa Check Card. I was told that the visa worked as a credit card. Even when I made a purchase I selected the credit card option and signed my name. Compass would approve the charges, pay the charges and then charge me a $36 NSF fee per charge.

Also, Compass Bank charges an $36 initial NSF fee, $36 for each additional NSF, and then $6 per day that your account is overdrawn. I have direct deposit so for the past couple of months, my paycheck has been tied up with these charges.

This is ridiculous and someone needs to prevent them from taking advantage of their customers.
