Business & Finance

I was sent a very officail-looking letter, with stamps and seals and signatures, stating it was a "Confirmation of Guaranteed" winner to $1.9 million dollars, "established on record".."making you the individual entitled to recieve the $1,900, 000.." The letter further states, "Entrant procedure directives for which the entire amount as reported will be dispatched to you upon reciept of your signed [papers].."

The letter closes with a reply deadline, stating, ".. Which is now 100% confirmed to You and Sponsor Gauranteed for Payment."

There is no telephone number nor proper address or any other contact information in the letter head, and the enclosed reply envelope is addressed to a PO Box in Uniondale, New York, attention: Wendy Hamilton.

Although I must admit this letter has "SCAM" written all over it, the wording and supposed validation seals, stamps, and "estabilshed records" actually had me ready to send them the $20 "required report processing" fee. It was only when I searched the internet for a phone number to call and confirm my supposed winnings that I found previous records of individuals who had been sent the same letter of notice and had not, in fact, gained anything at all but who had lost the $20 processing fee and never heard from the company again.

What jerks. I report them here in the hope that others will do as I did, and in searching for further company or contact information will come across this report and save themselves the trouble of realizing the hard way that this whole business is a rip-off sham.
