Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance
High Interest Rate and Rising Payoff on Auto Loan

This company WILL rip you off. I am not an angry consumer out to 'get' a company, but I do want to alert hard, working people who have problems with credit that this company WILL rip you off with sky high interest rates.

PLEASE do not use this company for an auto loan. You will go in debt. Their interest rates are outrageous. Having a hard time getting a loan for a car because of your credit history? Sure, Wells Fargo will finance you. What a great company, right? Of course they will finance you (with a rate of almost 19%, who wouldn't???)

And they obviously make so much money off struggling consumers that you will receive at least 5 phone calls a day on the SECOND day you are late, continuing until you are caught up. I pay my bills and of course it's wrong to be a few days late, but I got laid off from my job a year ago and got a month behind with Wells Fargo.

Since then, I've always caught up and I have even been ahead, but several times I have been behind (usually one month/the longest was two months that has only happened one time). I have never rolled a payment over to the end of my loan because they make it EXTREMELY difficult.

Other lenders are usually very accommodating with a financial hardship and will roll a payment to the end of your loan. These lenders may do it only once, but usually that's all a consumer who is having a financial hardship needs. Again, I have always caught up, but it gets harder and harder to pay when you look at how this company is ripping me off. Put it this way, my payoff 1 month ago was $4,500.

As of today, I made another $400 payment on my '98 Acura Integra and asked for payoff and it is now $5,300!!! I owe for June now and it is nauseating to think that everyday they are charging me more and more. I know they are not responsible for the quality of my car, but now the car is not worth anything. I will keep paying for it because that is the right thing to do, but I am currently searching for other lenders to finance my outstanding debt with Wells Fargo.

By the time I pay this car off, it will be early 2008 and I will have paid close to $30,000 for a 1998 Acura Integra. PLEASE DO NOT use this company. If you do, you will be in debt for a good portion of your life. BAD mistake!!!
