Ripoff dishonest wouldn't listen to my requests

Colony Mortgage Lenders contacted me and wanted to help me get a loan to pay off my bills. It was a good idea to begin with, but it turned out to be terrible.

The first guy that called was very nice, but when he said he would call back the next day I told him not until after 3:30pm. When he called the next day it was 9:00 in the morning and then he called again at 11:00am. When he called again after 2:00pm, my daughter reminded him that I didn't get home until after 3:30pm.

I waited for his call after I got home and we talked a little bit about what he could do for me, however when I asked how much the interest rate and my bill would change after 5 years, he would not give me an answer. I said I would think about it and talk to him tomorrow.

The next day, he called again around 11:30am and my daughter told him once again that I would not be home until after 3:30. When I talked to him again, I told him I wasn't really interested and I felt like he was pressuring me to go through with this loan. He wouldn't take no for an answer and continued to call.

I finally had him send me an email with the amounts this loan and everything related to it would be and decided to go through with it. When the notary came to have me sign everything, I realized that they had not sent me the information that I really wanted in the first place, after five years, my payment would jump up one thousand dollars and keep increasing over the years.

By this time I had already signed the paperwork, so the next morning I faxed and mailed back to them that I didn't want to continue through this. Things seemed to be fine after that.

I just recently went to a different mortgage place and the man there said I was being ripped off. The closing costs for Colony Mortgage Lenders was almost $10,000 while the closing costs at this new place are only $3200. That is a huge difference and I don't recommend Colony Mortgage Lenders to anyone.
