National City charges their customers ridiculous non sufficient fund fee's (NSF.)

I recently had 15 items pending on my account. The 12 pending items brought my account to a negative status.
Because the 15 items were not yet posted on the account, and were only pending, National City does not charge any NSF fees until the items are posted on the account.in order to avoid the 15 $34 NSF fees, I went and made a cash deposit that posted on my account immediately, and therefore brought my account to a positive status. When I made the cash deposit, I asked the clerk if I would be charged any of the NSF fee's, but she told me that because I made a cash deposit, the cash was going to be credited to my account immediately, and I should not be charges any fees.

After midnight on the same day, a check posted on my account, which was larger than all the smaller items that were on my pending items. National City paid the larger transaction, and charged me 15 NSF fee's for all the smaller transactions.

Had the clerk told me about the pending $190 check, I would of just made a larger deposit, but instead now got charged 15 $34 fees. They also could of told me that I had a check pending.

I always do balance my check book, but I over looked 1 check, and instead got charged $510 in fees.

I contacted the bank and begged them to credit me the fees or any, but instead they told me that they sympathized with me, but could do nothing for me.

This is just disgusting how they treat their customers, and how they couldn't refund me any fees.

I've had friends that National City has refunded fees to just because they have a lot of money with the bank. How can they just charge someone over $500 in fees when in fact nothing was showing pending on my account.
I truly hate this bank and suggest you look at other banks for any of your banking needs!!!
