RMA Ripoff listing things on Credit Report

Good Afternoon. I pulled my credit report to find a listing from this company on my record. My report states that I owe ATT $52.00 for a bill, with a first delinquency of 8, assigned for collection in 7. Ok, this is great, except... I've never had an ATT account, and have had the same phone company/number for over 13 years!!! In the comments section it states 'Consumer disputes this account information, Customer has now located consumer'. What the heck does this mean???

While we're at it, there were several other entries on my report from companies that I've never done business with. I disputed these charges a year ago (ok, call me dumb for not checking to make sure it was taken care of), but they insist that they never received the dispute because 'the address listed on the credit report is incorrect'.in addition, several other accounts have been taken care of because they weren't mine (now tell me, would you take a credit app with a phone number starting with 555??? This is getting old folks!). How do I get these people AWAY from me??? I'm obviously not doing something right, and need to be steered in the right direction.
