I opened two accounts with KeyBank two years ago personal and business I am now looking for a reputable bank to move both of these accounts. I contacted a local company to do an estimate for a sunroom addition to my residence. They quoted me a price and said they would get me financed. They went threw my bank KeyBank I thought this would be good since I already bank their. The first go around I was told Key declined the loan a few days latter I was told Key reconsidered and accepted the loan 30K 20 years at 10.75 Well I declined that a little to pricey for the advertised rates. I received a letter from there NC Branch stating that if I called in 30 days they would work out a 15K loan. I decided to scale down my project to around the 15K I then went to my local KeyBank branch and showed my letter and proceeded to fill out an application for a Home Equity Line of Credit in the amount of 15K. I was told that I would have an answer in one business days. Well 3 business days passed and I had no answer or calls from them. So I tracked down the person I was working with and he told me that the loan was approved and the only thing he was waiting on was a home value. This shouldn't take long at all and I would have an answer. Two more days passed with no answer. I emailed the person and asked for an explanation. A couple hours latter I get the mail and find a denial letter from KeyBank. I emailed complaints to the KeyBank sites and directly to the individual The Branch Manager which he has not responded and the cooperate web site has responded with a blow off letter.
