Misinformed of what type of credit card and credit limit victimized many consumers deceptive company tricked and lied to us

Business & Finance

It is Friday, May 3 and I was solicited on the telephone regarding an online application. The first customer representative informed me I had a $2500 limit for a MasterCard and only a $19.95 fee. I am used to processing fees, no big deal. I asked him his name, address, telephone number and that the later mention fees of $59.95 and $99.95 I am not obligated to pay in order to have a MasterCard. The rep told me "no". Then I was transferred to another rep to give billing information via an automated system with the rep listening in for questions and discrepencies. Upon going through the system it stated the extra $59.95 and $99.95 would be obligatory and billed to your account and did I agree or disagree.

I said I did not and he came online then revealing that it was a pay as you go (What the hell is that?) and that the extra fees would be set up to be taken out of your checking account. The rep proceeded to get sassy and not remove my information. I requested a supervisor and he did the same, not listening to me. I had to state over six times I did not want any fees taken out or to participate. I asked how I could be certain and the supervisor told me i had his word and that he was removing my inforamation.

The two reps were Larry Sadler and a Brian in customer care division. The supervisor's name was Scott Lisk. Larry Sadler gave me the company information and his extension is 0684. I will report further if money starts disappearing in these amounts. I checked the website and it is different and mentions nothing of this pay as you go plan etc. It is however one of those telemarketing travel gimmicks. They kept trying to get me to accept something regarding airline tickets and hotels. Please watch out.
