Ripoff, doubled our insurance after we paid in full, returned only 1/3 after 5 weeks coverage, $606. Cancellation fee

Our yearly premium was due March 1st, we paid $2929.00 as we have for years paying the entire year. The first of April I received another bill for $2689.00.
When I called to find out what this was I was informed that my insurance had almost doubled in less than a months time! There have been no accidents, claims or new drivers since they sent my yearly statment to me!

I found another insurance and faxed my new insurance info to them cancelling as of 4/11/06. Today, 5/8/06 I received a ck for $1062.00! I called and was informed that I had been charged $1250.75 for 5 weeks insurance, and that had left a balance of $1668.25 out of which my remaining part was $1062.00 the rest was a cancellation fee of over $600.00!!!
