Ripoff outlandish ripoff late fees

I had their credit card for a short time and it didn't take long before I noticed them screwing me. I noticed at first that they would post my payments late, thus charging the extra late fee, and I tried to complain but they wouldn't listen. Then about 4 months after I had gotten the card, I made a large payment to help get the balance down, but they never credited my account. They tacked on the late fees then the over the limit fees on top of that, and neither should have been there if they had credited my account when they should have.

I went to my bank and got a copy of the cashier's check they cashed and sent them a copy to show proof that they did cash it and to get credited. Well they didn't believe me so after a year of the run around, which I stopped paying that account after that, why bother when they won't even credit the account? They kept having the account handed over to collection agencies, but I informed each one of what was happening, then the account would be passed on to the next agency. It was never with any one agency for more than a month.

I finally had my state attorney general's office checking into it and are in the process of getting it taken care of. So far they have finally credited my account the amount of the check but refuse to take off the interest and penalty charges that accrued from their mistake.

Oh and the worst part was they harrassed me constantly! They would have a telemarker call at least 6 times every day about me being late even though I wasn't. Definitely don't reccomend that company. Stay away from them!
