Rude, Nasty, Callous, Ignorant Bastards

On November 3, I submitted a letter to Tek-Collect in reference to an entry on my credit report which I knew was not mine. After more than 30 days of no response, I filed a BBB complaint against the company on December 2. I included copies of the letter and my credit report as evidence. On December 12 Tek-Collect responded back to the BBB as follows: "Due to the age of this record, we are removing it from the credit bureau.

In taking them at their word (which is a joke), I had not followed up to make sure the transaction had taken place. On April 24, I pulled a copy of my credit report and guess what? Tek-Collect is still there through TransUnion Credit Bureau. Isn't that amazing.

I contacted them on April 25 since obviously they had not removed the entry. I spoke with some smart assed fag that said "the account was still open and in dispute." Interesting again I say. I further proceeded to tell the little gay minion I had filed a BBB complaint and Tek-Collect was to remove the entry. Oh, this made the he/she quite upset I suppose. He elevated his voice so I elevated mine as well, his last remark before hanging up in my ear was: "Let me introduce you to Mr. Dial Tone."

I've filed another BBB complaint with supporting documentation again.

I'm amazed at how collection agency representatives are allowed or trained to talk to customers especially when the customer is RIGHT. Had the little gay minion allowed me to fax the information to him, he would have seen the comment directly from Tek-Collect and their intentions. This is yet another way for collection agencies to sully a person's credit history. No one does anything about it however consumers are expected to sit and let some moron speak to them in condesending tones. WRONG again. Awaiting the verdict from the BBB.
