Ripoff crooks bait and switch refused to comply with BBB arbitration

This mortgage company does not honor any offer that they make in writing. They repeatedly sent out forms with "mistakes" so they can delay up until closing. After many "bait and switch" offers riddled with untruths and mistakes, they finally gave us an extra suprise at closing - a higher interest rate. They are the most shady, dishonest and nasty company that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau of San Diego about the practices of this company and went to arbitration. American Unified Mortgage agreed to abide by the BBB rules and the ruling of the arbitration. I won the arbitration and American Unified Mortgage was ordered to pay me a refund of $500. They refused to abide by their agreement.

This shows the dishonestly of this company. I have all emails and documentation to back up my entire complaint against this company. Do not use american unified mortgage (aumi). They are very dishonest.
