Ruined My Life, Don't Be Fooled, It's a Scam! Ripoff

Many years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. After surgery and treatment, it was determined that I was "cured".in October of I found out that wasn't the case, and that further treatment was necessary. The insurance company considered this a pre-existing condition, and refused to pay. Seeing as how I don't have the best credit in the world, and I am single with no family to help, my only choice was to seek out a bad credit loan.

That was my first mistake. My second mistake was trusting David Short when he called from the Tribeca Lending Group, and said that my loan for $5,000 had been approved. He walked me through the process I needed to follow. I thought to myself at the time that it seemed a bit sketchy that you had to pay a portion of the loan up front, but in my desperation, I didn't really question it.

I sent roughly $700 to my "private lender" in Quebec (again, bells and whistles should have gone off, but they didn't). My $5,000 should have been in my account within 24 hours. Big surprise here folks - it wasn't.

Not only was the money not in my account as promised, suddenly, the company's phone number had been "temporarily disconnected", and all faxes and email went unanswered.

It's not April and I still have had no luck getting a hold of anyone, and I know that if I did, I wouldn't get anywhere, because this is by no means a legitimate business.

A warning to you all - accepting a loan from Tribeca Lending Group may be tempting because you have exhausted all other avenues, but no matter how desperate your situation, do NOT attempt to do business with this company. They will rip you off, take your money, and you will never hear from them again. Do not be fooled by their website, their smooth-talking "associates", or their official-looking paperwork. Trust me when I say that this is a scam.

Not only did I send them $700 that I didn't have, but the loan money I was so desperately waiting upon never came. I lost my apartment, and have had to limit the amount of medical treatment I am receiving due to this incident.

It's hard when you're already "behind" in bill paying, but when you sacrifice $700 to get a loan that is going to "save your life", and it doesn't come through, you've gotten yourself in a hole so deep, there's no hope of getting out.

DO NOT BE A VICTIM TO THIS SCAM! The only consolation that I have is that I've learned a very valuable lesson, and these people will rot in hell for what they are doing.
