Ripoff no help at all nightmare

I had applied for a loan with HFC and was granted an 8000.00 equity line of credit loan. About a month later my partner wanted to do the same to pay some credit cards off. When she called they denied her because of my loan. They said one loan per household. However, they did tell her that they could give her a loan if they paid mine off and paid her credit cards off which would be a 20,000 loan. At the time we thought what the h*l cause we were going to get back close to 3,000 in pocket and that is what we needed at the time. Things were good for awhile but hence my partner is now unemployed and has been off and on since September. Yes like everyone else is having hard times making ends meet.

We called HFC long ago before anything got out of hand and was told they could not work with us. We initially tried getting my payment date moved and had no success. I made the call the day after the payment was due and let them know we could not make the payment that day could they move it and we were told no cause we weren't current. We were current when I made that call except for being 1 day late. I would love to see that company go down in history with NOTHING! Now, we are months behind and they are demanding 1,100.00 or else. I asked what money tree I could go to to get that in 3 days. They won't even accept a partial payment now and in 2 weeks the other half.
