Palisades Collection Agency AT & T
Ripoff

I am so frustrated with Palisades collection agency. I am being harrassed by Wolpoff & Abramson LLP in Rockville MD because of a supposed balance of $1052.94 from Palisades Collection agency and AT & T. I had A T & T for probably 8 years and then was switched over to Cingular.

I have never had an oustanding balance with them. They say I owe this amount and the attorney is threatening to take me to court over this amount. He first called and said I will take a settlement offer. I told him there's no way in hell I am paying him for something that is not mine. I have NEVER received a letter or notice of any outstanding debe with them. This does not show on ANY credit reports... But probably soon will.

I need help. What should I do. I have already sent a dispute notice, but have not heard anything back yet.

These people need to stop calling me regarding this. I asked for some sort of documentation that this debt is mine. They said they do not have any information to provide other than the amount supposedly owed. I cannot contact AT&T wireless and Cingular shows no records of an oustanding debt.
