The business that doesn't give a dam

When seeking out a company to finance some home repairs we were picked up by the money store through a contractor we hired to do the work. He also offered financing. What we thought was going to be an installment loan turned out to be a mortgage loan.

CHECK ALL FINE PRINT Regarding who is financing you. We ran into a lot of debt and decided to go thru CCC to pay off all our outstanding debt.

The money store had no mercy in the phone calls everyday, three and four times a day.ccC gets a payment from us once a month. Not on a specific day but during the month. The Money store would not change our payment date making each and every payment they received from CCC late and when I asked to change the date that its due I was given some extra fee I needed to pay to do so.

Our loan with them now shows 6 months in the rear because of their inability to work with us and CCC. At least the calls have stopped since we sent a Cease and Desist letter references the fair debt collection act and rights as a citizen. We all make mistakes and get over our heads but they have been nothing but brutal.
