Ripoff

I took out a credit card back in 1999 from Providian for a credit limit of 1000. I used the card and paid faithfully on it. However on one payment they claimed that I was late so they added a 25 charge to this and I disputed this and told them to take the charge off. They wouldn't and in the process kept adding fees.

I told them i wouldn't pay for this card until they remedied this problem. They never did and I never paid the card. Tthis dispute went on and it has ruined my credit.

In the years since I have take car loans and other credit cards and paid faithfully even working 2 jobs the last 5 years to keep my credit good. However even though there showed a charge off from Providian on my credit card there now shows that RMJ ACQUISITIONS Has bought this account and they want their money and have kept reporting this to the 3 credit bureaus and it has kept my credit from looking as good as i have wanted it to.

It has been 7 years since this has happened and last year they took me to court to pay this and I still refused and now they are taking me again. When is this going to end. This was a write off 7 years ago and it just keeps showing up and I don't think I am ever going to do anything about this.
