So called rip off bastards

Hi, my name is tammie. My husband received an approval letter in the mail for a credit limit of $5000.00. We sent in the $43.00 in a money order for the "rush" processing fee. They called my husband while i was at work and requested $19.95 more for the processing fee.

We deposited the money in the bank on 04/01/02 and they withdrew on 04/03/02. We were told we would receive our credit card within 5 days, it's been 14 days and heard/seen nothing! I called the information for a phone number and was given the toll free number: 1-800-707-1689. The line is constantly busy.

We will have to change our checking account to another before they withdraw any more money from it. We took their offer for the "hartford auto club" and "mega saver" calling card. A week later after my husbands certificate, i received one from "first national credit" from aliso viejo, california for a credit line of $15,000.00.

I'm sooo glad i waited before i sent any money. The sad thing about this whole thing is that we were going to use that credit card to pay up our mortgage (which we are $1600.00 behind on). I am very happy to have gone on line to check into this and find out about these f*cking people's scams! The people that do not have access to the internet should know about this sh*t too. We need to get the word out and put these a*holes out of their so called business!!!
