Takes resumes from Citigroup to find employees. Ripoff

So recently I have been trying to get a job at some of my local banks and have been applying online. Then one evening at around 5:00 PM a man calls me and tells me about an interview with some company that is some arm for Citigroup.

I get dressed like I'm going to an important interview. I am looking to get something that will help me add things to my resume as I have been waiting tables for many years. When i get there i find out that this is not what i expected. I was just trying to get a job as a teller to see what i thouht of working at a bank.

Now being that I am a Finance major this job sounded like a good thing for me to do. I didn't think that $200 for licening was a big deal. I signed all the forms and was exited thinking I was gonna start my first real job soon.

I called up my mom to let her know the "good news". But to my dismay she acted like this sounded fishy. I got kinda irrated that she was not happy for me but instead protective. But she told me she would look into this company as she works for an insurance compay her self.

Well that got me to thinking i should do the same anyways because i really did not know what i was going to be doing. I was just thinking they hired me beacuse i was going to have a finance degree soon.

So after a little research and a little bit of thinking about my "interview" i figured out this place was a sham. After I figured out it was a pyramid scheme i was pissed.

To think, this guy who was going to be my "mentor" and help me with my job was really just trying to make money off me. No real buisness hires everyone they can to just try and make a buck, and the people below you make money for you is just a pryimid and should be illegal.

People with no financal knowledge should not be selling insurance and helping with debt managment period.
