Severe racial intimidation of hispanic woman the collectors called and used racial taunts said they were admitting to being bigots by telling the hispanic woman that she was a stupid immigrant

This complaint is to simply request if anyone out there has been racially harrased by this company. I spoke with the supervisors about calling a woman a stupid immigrant becuase she has a hispanic accent. They called her becuase somone else had an old number that was disconnectd and then recycled to her new home she just purchased in Walnut Creek California. Even after the collectors understood the mistake and that she was not related to the debtor, they continued harrassing her several times a day. I called the supervisors and told them of the mistake. They said they would do nothing and refused to even apologize. The collectors admitted that they used racial taunts against the woman and to being bigoted. Despite this they said they are not sorry. I then called owner of the company and sent him copies of letters to his staff. No response. We also asked the Attorney Generals office of New York to file a case for possible hate crimes.
