Ripoff deception

I received a call from a solicitor caliming that I had been approved for two cards (Visa and Mastercard) both with $2000 limits. I was told that I needed to pay a one-time fee of $199 for both cards before I recieved them. I was told the cards would be in my possesion in 7-10 business days after the draft from my account.

I took them up on the offer... Being a recently graduated college student, I thought this would be a way to pay off some of my other smaller cards, and just have the one or two cards. They also claimed to be able to do balance transfers for certain other card comapnies that they worked with.

I waited about fifteen business days before I made the first call. I was told that the initial time-window of 7-10 days was incorrect (and very rudely) that it would be 15-20 business days before I recieved anything, which meant it would be the 4th of April (a month later) before I would recieve anything. Today is April 12th, still no cards. I tried calling again, but of course all of their lines were busy.

I never thought I would fall victim to something like this... Please beware of these scams!
