I have also been through a mess with Family Credit.

I started in Aug. When I first started I called all my creditors to make sure they received and accepted the proposals. If not they were changed or resent some three times. After that was set the Sept payments were fine. Then the hurricane in October. My payments from Oct were finally sent in Dec to the wrong creditors and wrong amounts. Novemeber and December I stopped the debits and made the payments myself. Which worked out great. I also called all the creditors and moved my due dates out. So in Jan the debits came out and everything is back on track.

I call a few days after the pull and get check numbers and when my payments went out then I call or go online to see it the payments are applied and when. They have never lied and the payments have been received by my creditors. I do this every month so I don't get behind. I have only had one issue and that was in October. I also fax them and that seems to work. I was very frustated in October and looked into using another company. That would have meant starting all over and not getting my $ back from FCCC and paying more. And I don't know if I can trust anyone else ever again.

I know reviewing my accounts and calling after they take the money out has helped me to make sure they are keeping on track. I hope this helps a little. I also have another # I call 1-866-240-7172. It's seems easier to get a hold of someone of Saturday mornings.

If they mess up again I will just stop the program and try and work with the creditors myself. I have always had good credit no late payments just my debt was too high. So I wanted the interest to be lower. I have some that are 0% and I am just trying to stick it out with FCCC.
