Ripoff

I received a letter from them that I owed a Spiegel credit card the amount of 1640.19 on 1/18/06. I immediately called them and told them that I have never applied or received a credit card from them, that this was identity theft. I asked for a contact from the original creditor and they said that could only be done through mail. I told then that this was unacceptable and demanded to speak to a supervisor. All I got was voice mails. Needless to say no one has call me back and I have called many times over the past 3 days.

At this point I am going directly to Spiegel and reporting them as using their name fraudulently.

Beware of this company and their tactics.
