Ripoff fraudulent collections

I received a collection notice in the mail today to my utter shock. It was from the now infamous Merchants' Credit Guide CO., stating that I owed $62.00 for a defaulted account. The Clients name was CFB Financial III, LLC, and the Original Creditor being CPS Marketing. I have never had an account with any of these people, never received a bill for any past due account until this notice.

I became curious and decided to see what I could find out on the net. And here I am filing a report like so many others that have been or almost been victimized by this company.

I will also be filing a complaint with my local US Post Office, and the Attorney General's Office of Ohio, Illinois, and New York. The latter two being the two address of the company seeking the fradulant payment for this non-existant debt.

With the hundreds of complaints about this scam how can this company still be in business?
