Ripoff liars rude fraudulent

My name Danielle and I live in Marrero, Louisiana right out side of New Orleans and as you may know we have recently been through a "little" hurricane called Katrina. My ordeal with Auroa Loan Services started when we were evacuated in Texas. Not able to go home not knowning if my house was still standing, no job no money and a house note due.

I called A. L services to see if I could defer my payments until we got back on our feet. I was told they would defer payments from Sept to Nov. Call in Nov and see if I had to pay all At once or payments would be tacted on at the end depending on my situation at that time.

Well October rolled around the phone calls started "When are you going pay" they called once a week. I explained I don't have a job My house has major damage I needed my payments put at the end of loan.

To make a long and devastating story short I was told since a hurricane clause was not in my contract My loan was in default I had to pay three months payments at once (I had to use my insurance money for roof repairs to pay it.) and when I tried to explain my situation they were rude to me and couldn't care less. They were suppost to send me a hardship form to fill out STILL WAITING!

Now they have given me 21 days to get flood insurance on my house if I don't they will add it on because they say FEMA said I was in a flood zone and they require me to have it. I asked auroroa for an extension they wont give me one. I need a chance to get flood ins with state farm It's just taking a while.

I spoke to FEMA they say They do not require me to have flood ins I'm not in a flood zone and It sounds to them that aurora is tring to make a fast buck off of me charging me $1500 a year for flood ins. I was told by Connie @ Aurora they will tack on the insurance and no one at Auroa has the power to or will give me an extension. I explained I can't afford I higher note an Connie tells me there isn't any thing she or any one else can do for me they will be added the insurance no matter what.
