Chase did it to me too! We should write a book! Ripoff

Well, I'm certainly happy that I'm not the only one who's rates been hiked for no reason. I was told by Chase they were raising my rates because I was getting close to my credit limit. Keep in mind, I was never late and my credit history is very good. They attempted to pull the 30% garbage on me also. After a heated conversation with customer service, I opted out of their interest rate hike and will be paying them off shortly—never to do business with them again!

I'm just as ticked off as the last poster. I agree you are responsible for your own debt but these practices constitute poor business practices and should be illegal. Companies who try to make people go over their credit limits are greedy and unprofessional. I'm just wondering if they're really doing this to pay for their latest merger? I'm also wondering if any of these corporate geniuses have ever been in a position where they truly had to fend for themselves, or overcome an family financial obstacle. No doubt the silver spoons in their mouths have clouded their vision of what the real world is like for most people. As for me, I have no desire to pay for their corporate jet or trips to the Caribbean. So "see ya" Chase. Take your greediness to the grave!!
