Ripoff claiming to be a part of the government that will give you a large education grant

My wife recieved a call from this company (Advantage America) saying she has recieved a grant because she has been paying her taxes on a regular basis and on time.

The agent told her that it will only cost her a $49.95 processing fee in order to get the money to her. This agent transfered her to multiple people, one of which took her bank information.

After talking to me we realized that there seems to be something fishey going on, so we changed our bank account number while leaving only a small amount of money in the old account, to pay other bills.

On the following Monday she had called them to cancel the service, the agent she talked to at that time told her it was cancelled (which it was not). A week or so later when i was checking my bank balance I saw they had taken another $299.95.

I am still waiting to get my $299.95 back from them and now they will not call me or take my calls, my most recent attempt to talk to them resulted in someone telling me that the agents are all busy, and someone will call me someting today (which they did not). Once they take your money they don't want to talk to you, and if lady luck is on your side and you do get a hold of someone, they are extremely rude let alone the fact that they will deny any record of you canceling the service.
