E-loan will not remove a late payment on our credit report even though we were never made aware that we owed it. We refinanced this loan and it turned out there was $67.00 that was still owed. No one called or made us aware we owed this.
Finally someone from their company calls about 2 monthes later to tell us we owe this and then we pay it promptly because now WE KNOW and they put a negative remark on our credit. When I tried explaining this to them they were rude and did not care if it makes our credit look bad or not!
I feel it was their lazy negligence that should be a negative mark on them, not ruining our credit, which we have worked very hard to look decent.
