Ripoff of overdraft fees, multiple OD fees on day of deposit? Wells Fargo SUCKS. Ripoff

Wells Fargo is horrible! We made our credit card payment at the branch one day late. They didn't post payment right away, but instead closed our card without notifying us. We had no idea they did this.

We used our debit card for everyday purchases, never got denied or a statement in the mail of insufficient funds. I happened to go online and look at the account and I was blown away. They charged overdraft fee after overdraft fee. 18 overdraft fees ($594 worth!) and not one call, notice in the mail or denial.

When I saw this, I called the bank who told me out payment was late so they closed our credit card "per the customer agreement." Instead of denying the charges we were putting through, they kept them coming and racked up the over draft fees. They refuse to reimburse us, and their rude response was "you should have read your customer agreement."

To add insult to injury, they charged us $2.00 for us calling the telephone number and asking what was going on with our account. UNREAL!

We have been looking at other banks, but couldn't get out quick enough. I just looked at my account online (12/10/05) and on 12/9/05 my husbands check was deposited, as well as four more $33 overdraft fees taken out. How can they post debits before credits is baloney, its not fair to the consumer and its rape. Plain and simple - we are being raped. We can't get out of that bank soon enough!

So, for the month of December they have taken almost $728 of our money on their BS overdraft fees and fee for calling with a question.

Wells Fargo is a nighmare to deal with! The employees are rude and the big guys running it are getting rich off of their customers. It's not fair that they can do this.
